Life in London

Filed under: Uncategorized — mathewdelong @ 4:52 AM

I’ve been VERY busy the past couple months, but I am hoping now that things are starting to settle down I’ll be able to get back in the habit of writing a blog entry every once in a while.

The first thing I should mention, in the event you don’t already know, is that I’ve left Canada and am now living in London, England. Because of this move, I have left Embarcadero and no longer contribute to RAD Studio or DataSnap. Because of this, I don’t know how frequently I will blog, or what topics my posts will cover. They will most likely not be as focused on DataSnap as they were in the past, and they may feature other languages other than (but still including) Delphi.

The good news is that I landed a Delphi job in London, working for a great start-up company called marketingQED (http://www.marketingqed.com.) This should allow me to stay at least mostly current with Delphi, and help in writing the occasional helpful entry. As always, I will try to help with any DataSnap XE or XE2 questions you guys might have.

For those interested, life in London is great so far (I’m a month in.) I haven’t met the Queen yet, but I’m told she is lovely.
